About Tech A Look

Technology has been a part of my life since I was a teenager, but I understand that for many people, it hasn’t. You may have lived most of your life perfectly well without it and suddenly, everything has changed.

In today’s world, technology is everywhere and evolving faster than ever, especially since COVID. From booking GP appointments online to paying for parking with your phone, everyday tasks now rely on digital tools. It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed, unsure, or even reluctant to engage with it.

I always offer calm, friendly, and jargon free support and I truly mean it when I say no question is too small or silly.

Where it all began

My passion for helping others with technology started close to home, with my late grandad. In his late eighties, I spent time teaching him how to use a mobile phone and navigate his TV. What might seem simple to some, made a huge difference to him. Seeing his confidence grow was incredibly rewarding.

That experience stayed with me. It showed me that with the right support, anyone can learn and more importantly, no one should feel left behind or embarrassed when it comes to technology.

Why choose me?

I have been helping people in East Sussex since 2020 and have over 16 years of experience working in IT within the NHS. I’ve supported people of all ages and abilities. One of the most rewarding parts of my career was delivering training sessions (helping both patients and staff build confidence and independence with technology).

Alongside my NHS work, I volunteered with community organisations supporting people who live alone or may feel isolated. I’m passionate about making sure no one feels left behind in an increasingly digital world.

  • I always tailor my tuition to each individual. Whether we role play what we’ve learnt, or I make simple easy to follow notes, I’m confident you will retain the basic skills. I will always teach at your pace and what you are comfortable with learning.

  • Not only do I offer tuition, I can also help diagnose and fix issues that may have cropped up. Technology can go wrong but fear not, there is always a way to get around it.

  • We offer flexible pricing based on the call out and complexity. Tuition is typically £40 per hour whilst the more technical diagnostic issues are £50 per hour

  • I am a very friendly person and whilst I recognise Technology can cause a lot of stress it is important for me to try and make it fun and have a laugh together, where possible. Check out my reviews for more
